Dear all

Following the success of the Riverlands Ladies Tournament, this year will see an APF endorsed Ladies State of Origin tournament.  Dates: 22-23 November. Venue: Windsor Polo Club.

NSW needs you!  The NSW Team will be selected by the NSW Handicap Committee and there will be a B Grade too. We hope there will be at least 4 teams from NSW, WA, SA, QLD and VIC

You should be

·         between -1 – 2 goals (& currently financial)

·         living/playing tournaments in NSW to qualify.

·         Able to mount yourself

·         The B Grade division gives all nominees an opportunity to participate.

·         Chukka Fees will be $200 per player for the weekend and must be received prior to the commencement of the tournament

Please Nominate/ send your expression of interest by 5pm Tuesday 14th October to nsw@australianpolo.com.au.

We look forward to hearing from you!

The benefits of this tournament are as follows:

·         It creates an Australian squad made up of the 16 best female players in the country, involving the state associations

·         From this squad, an Australian female side can be selected by the APF to represent Australia at the International Test Match

·         It is also a good foundation to run in the future, a State of Origin League throughout the year, with a tournament played in each state, the final being held at Windsor in November. This gives the individual state selectors the opportunity to follow the ladies tournaments throughout the year and determine the best combination for an Australian female side.
