We write to let you know that Trevor James Johnson, aged 68, father of 5 goal player Kelvin and his sister Lana passed away peacefully last Sunday 31 January after a battle with dementia.
Trevor from Kelana Park, Beaudesert, was a horse lover all his life, and bred thoroughbreds. A butcher by trade, Trevor always owned cattle & horses, was a hard worker, and the life of the party.
Originally from northern Queensland, he started the polocrosse club in Cairns in early the 1970s. He stick and balled with Kelvin and encouraged him in his polo career.
Our thoughts are with Kelvin and the Johnson family.
The funeral is on Tuesday 9th February, 10.30am at St Mary’s Church, Beaudesert and then Beaudesert Lawn Cemetery with a wake afterwards.
