Federation of International Polo (FIP) World Polo Championships - Australian Representatives Every four years, FIP holds World Polo Championships at 14 goal level. Sydney Royal Easter Show Polo
3 a-side polo was first introduced at the Sydney Show in 1939 and has since then remained a feature of the Easter Show conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales. Many of the games are played under lights on the small showground allowing spectators to get close to the action. It has remained a highlight of each show and attracts big crowds. Until 1997 it was played at Moore Park and since 1998 at Homebush.
