Millamolong Polo Club are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for junior riders to try out polo as a horse sport at the upcoming Junior Polo School, hosted at their picturesque Polo field on Thursday, 9th October 2025.

This event is specially tailored for Pony Club members from Zones 2 and 3, and we warmly welcome any other interested riders to join them a day full of polo fun, learning, and camaraderie!

What’s Included:

• Coaching from experienced polo players on the basics of the game
• Techniques for hitting the ball
• Rules of polo & horsemanship tips
• Progression to playing actual chukkas on a full-size polo field

Who will enjoy this?
This event is perfect for keen riders, boys and girls of all ages, who enjoy playing team sports and are eager to try out an amazing horse sport, and challenge their horsemanship. Polo is not just for the elite as many think, and it’s best suited for confident riders looking to take their riding skill into an exciting sport.

Program Details:

• Start Time: 9:30 am, with breaks for tea and lunch throughout the day
• Finish: Late afternoon
• Overnight Camping: Feel free to camp on the grounds with your pony or horse in preparation for the day. Join us Wednesday evening for a welcome BBQ and meet your fellow riders!

Cost: $50 per rider
Gear: Polo sticks provided. Riders must bring their own pony or horse, helmet, saddlery, and leg protection.
