Dear NSW Polo Community.
The Scone Polo Club is under threat and needs your help.
Devastatingly, Energy Co and the NSW government want to construct Australia’s largest electricity transmission corridor through the Upper Hunter, passing straight over the Scone Polo Club. This will directly impact the future viability of the club. Scone Polo Club is the heartbeat of country polo in NSW and a threat to Scone is a threat to the sport
The corridor also passes through a large number of the polo community’s properties including Anto and Alec White, Pete, Will and Jasper White, James Archibald, Rob, Ed and Jack Archibald, Alex Warner, George Crouch as well as Gus and Cole Aguirre.
Energy Co are inviting community feedback with a deadline of Thursday 11th December.
Scone has created an automated letter generator in the below link. Scone hopes to flood Energy Co with responses by making it super easy to generate an articulate and informed response.
