Millamolong Polo Club invites players to join them for four days of Green Horse Chukkas from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November 2026, offering a relaxed, low-pressure environment to introduce horses to the game or provide valuable time in the saddle.

Designed to help build a solid foundation, these sessions are ideal for young horses aged two to three years fresh out of breaking, as well as older horses looking for a refresher. The focus will be on education, a steady pace and correct fundamentals, allowing horses to develop confidence and experience in a supportive setting.

Chukkas will run daily at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, with each session lasting approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on the horses. The flexible format allows riders to pull out, cruise around and rejoin as needed, ensuring the sessions remain comfortable and productive for the horses.

There are no club fees, although a NSW Polo practice chukka or playing membership is required as a minimum. Teams will consist of four to six players wearing contrasting shirt colours, with an emphasis on maintaining a smooth flow of play and encouraging good fundamentals.

For those wishing to make the most of their stay, additional opportunities include stick-and-ball practice at the club before the event, riding through the surrounding hills or down to the Belubula River, and schooling horses in small and large sand arenas located approximately 25 minutes from the club.

Accommodation options include a fully furnished seven-bedroom house with air conditioning and multiple bathrooms, approximately 25 minutes from the club, as well as camping on the club grounds. Plenty of yards and small paddock options are available for horses. Catering will be BYO for morning tea, lunch, barbecues and evening drinks.
