The Legend Of Lenny The Leopard by David Everdell

The book is a memorial to Jamie Ashton by Australian Polo Photographer, David Everdell.  It’s also a book to pay homage to the only documented and tabulated Australian Appaloosa Horse to become an international polo player.  Siblings and change are at the epicenter of the novel.  David will set up a table with the book at the tournament.  The tale of Lenny The Leopard is relatively short, so David has put lots of photos of things and people who surrounded Lenny and were part of the polo world.  It extends to the Geebung Polo Club and the fact that “Banjo” Paterson was almost certainly our most famous player of polo and played for the NSW Polo Team.

The book is totally made in Australia.  David still lives in share accommodation but to try and keep the cost down, he has made both a soft cover copy and a hard cover copy.  The soft cover copy is $58 each but will be at $50 at Millamolong and the hard cover costs $78 but will be $70 at Millamolong Tournament.

David made every single part of the book on his own with some help from friends to check spelling and grammar.  The tale of Lenny The Leopard and Jamie Ashton is tied in every way, shape and form to Millamolong, and so it was thought best, with or without the hard copy, to launch the book at this tournament.
