Polo NSW is proud to support Millamolong’s Learn to Play Clinic with Sam Gardiner this weekend. This initiative forms part of Polo NSW's ongoing commitment to growing the sport and creating meaningful opportunities for participation at all levels.
Sam has travelled the world playing professional polo, reaching a handicap of 5 goals. He has a passion for horses and experience running a polo academy in Victoria for several years.
The clinic will commence on Friday 1st May, beginning with lessons on a wooden horse to improve swing direction and power. Participants will then move into a riding session focused on stability, control, and getting the most out of your horse with minimal effort.
After lunch, participants will take part in a rules and strategy session using a whiteboard to cover key aspects of the game and In the afternoon, players will head out for a stick-and-ball session before finishing the day with chukkas.
This clinic is FREE for current NSW Polo members, proudly funded by Polo NSW. We strongly encourage both new and existing players to attend and take advantage of this fantastic development opportunity.
If you are not currently a member, or would like to try polo for the first time, you will need to purchase a Coaching Clinic Membership, the cost is $58.00. This membership provides the necessary coverage to ride and participate in the clinic.
For non-members, please click. HERE, follow the prompts, and select 7 Day Polo School or Coaching Clinic.
