Polo NSW is looking forward to hosting this year’s prestigious Bentleys Morton Cup (14-Goal) and Hector King Cup (8-Goal) tournaments in the Hawkesbury Basin.
The Morton Cup was originally held at Warwick Farm from 1981 to 2000, before moving to the Hawkesbury Basin, where it continues to be a highlight of the high goal polo calendar.
The Hector King tournament is named after NSW player Hector King (1919 - 1968). Traditionally it is for 10 goal teams and was instituted after Hector King died so lower rated players could gain experience by playing along side better players in medium goal polo. In recent years it has been for 8 goal teams.
Play will commence on Friday, 10 April, with the finals culminating on 19 April at Windsor Polo Club. Spectator entry is free for all games throughout the tournament, and everyone is welcome to attend.
