It is compulsory to be a member of an affiliated club if you intend to play polo in Australia, as this membership covers you for public liability and basic personal accident insurance upon receipt of payment.
Players must ensure they are registered before participating in any practices or tournaments. Individuals caught playing or practicing without proper registration will incur a $1000 fine. It is crucial for players to adhere to these guidelines to avoid penalties and uphold the integrity of the sport.
Instead of waiting until the last minute before heading onto the field, and to assist the NSWPA with its accounting and cash flow, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please register now while it’s fresh in your mind.
By registering, you agree to all NSWPA and APF Rules and Policies, such as Handicap, Discipline, Safety Testing, Anti-Doping, and more. You can read these rules HERE
Juniors - To qualify for a junior membership, you must be under 19 on or before January 1st, 2025.

SAVE THE DATE!
- The NSW Polo Association Morton Cup is a prestigious event with a rich history spanning over forty years. It is a longstanding tradition that brings together polo enthusiasts and professionals to showcase their skills and passion for the sport, the Morton Cup will be held in the hawkesbury from 4th to 13th April.
- Polo International Sunday the 5th April at Windsor Polo Club, Be sure to mark your calendar for this iconic event, as it promises an exciting display of sportsmanship, competition, and camaraderie.
- Hawkesbury League will commence after the Morton Cup. It will consist of three two-week tournaments with games being hosted by all clubs. Each league tournament ends with a Finals Sunday. There will be winners for each leg of the league in each grade, as per normal. However, the Hawkesbury League grand champions will be the teams with the most wins across the six weeks in each grade (similar to the Triple Crown). Additionally, there will be Pony Prizes and MVP prizes across all grades up for grabs, sponsored by local businesses.
Dates for each weekend of the League are below
- The Sportscraft Trophy (6,2 & Subzero) 19 - 27 April 2025, with Finals taking place on Sunday 27 April
- The Royal Richmond Hotel Cup (6,2 & Subzero) 3 - 11 May 2025 with Finals taking place on Sunday 11th May (Mother's Day)
- NSWPA Intermediate (6,2 & Subzero) 17 - 25 May 2025 with Finals and Champions Presentation on Sunday 25 May
