Forbes Polo Club hosted two great days of polo at Jemalong with a hard fought battle on Sunday, to win the Bullivant Cup in the A Grade Final, 13.5 goals  to 11.  Forbes team, Greg Brabham (0), Lachie Gilmore (4), Glen Gilmore (6) and Gary Johnston (-1)  defeated 10 goal Jemalong team, Charlie Boyd (1), Henry Williams (-1), Andrew Williams (4) and Tom Hunt (6).

B Grade

The Droubalgie Cup was won by GOULBURN: Toby Campbell (-1), Lucia Gilmore (-1), Angus Campbell (1) and Lachie Gilmore (4). 

Lachie won "B Grade Champion Pony Prize" with Indianne. Lucia was awarded "Most Valuable Lady Player" and also won a pony prize with grey mare, “Taittinger”.

C Grade

The Bassett Cup was won by FORBES C: Sam Gunn (3), Arch Old (-1), Amy Gunn (-1) and Charlie Arthur (0).

Thank you to Tommy Martin for going above and beyond to help make our tournament work and so that players who otherwise would have missed out, got to play. Tommy played 12 chukkas straight and then umpired the final.

Congratulations on winning the D Grade, runner up in C and B Grades and collecting the Sue Gunn Pony Prize with “Elle".

D Grade

The Jemalong Cup (D Grade) was won by FORBES D consisting of Scarlett & Stirling Francis (both on -2), Margaret Taylor (0), Muz Easton (0) and Tommy Martin (3) defeating Tilboroo team, Eleanor Glisson (-2), Olivia Paterson (-2), Lachlan McGuiness (0) and Ric McCarthy (3). 

The Wandary Cup for “A Grade Best Team of Three Ponies” was won by Glen Gilmore’s Winnie, Galaxy and Juice.

The Johnston Trophy for “A Grade Champion Pony" was won by Glen Gilmore’s Winnie. 

The Margaret King Trophy for “Most Improved Player” was won by Scarlett Francis.
